London Metropolitan University, with the International Food Design Society, proposed the International Conference on Designing Food and Designing For Food (London, June 28-29, 2012). The conference, organized by Francesca Zampollo, provided a forum for the presentation and discussion of research on fundamental aspects of Food Design across all domains of application, including food product design, design with food, food packaging, food design history, food engineering, interior design for food, food system design, etc.
The conference success was proved by the participation of delegates from 21 countries. Authors presented Papers, Projects and Posters (Proceedings are available here). The conference proceedings include 29 full papers and 4 short papers.
