ifooddesign was born as the International Food Design Society, which was founded in 2009 by Dr Francesca Zampollo.

ifooddesign is a Food Design hub and virtual space:

Dr Francesca Zampollo:

Dr. Francesca Zampollo is a Food Design researcher, consultant, keen public speaker, teacher, HuffingtonPost writer, and YouTuber. She is the founder of the Online School of Food Design©, the first and only provider of online education on Food Design. Francesca has a PhD in Design Theory applied to Food Design and is an award winning Food Designer. She has recently developed Food Design Thinking, a branch of Design Thinking she started theorizing in 2012. She is the founding editor of the International Journal of Food Design, she has organized the first, second, and third International Conference on Food Design, and has taught Design Theory and Food Design at London Metropolitan University and Auckland University of Technology as a senior lecturer.
