Food Design® Competition

Food Design® Competition is the most important competition in this discipline. It is organized by ONE Off Studio in Turin, Italy. The projects refer to the Food Design’s subcategories Food Product Design and Design for Food. The projects selected and are divided by the organizers of the competition in: Food a porter, food that until yesterday, wasn’t possible to carry; Food I know, food that tells more and makes you more aware; Food & +, food that has an additional function; Food N-Use, solutions for innovative food packaging; Food for Fun, food that makes you laugh, because laughing is a natural necessity for people.

In 2008 there has been the 5th edition of the Food Design® Competition, and each year the projects show more and more quality, variety and creativity.

This is currently the only periodic competition that enables the Food Design community to grow, expand and maintain a high, vigorous interest in people.

Cornell Food & Brand Lab

The Food & Brand Lab was founded at the University of Illinois in 1992 by Professor Brian Wansink and moved to Cornell University in 2005. The Food and Brand Lab is an interdisciplinary group of graduate and undergraduate students from psychology, food science, marketing, agricultural economics, human nutrition, education, history, library science, and journalism along with a number of affiliated faculty.
